External Page Links
There are a couple of ways to add links into your webpages which we will show you here.
- The easiest way is to type the full web address into the text editor, by doing this it will automatically create the address into a link for example: www.healthhosts.com now all i done was to type the web address and it just created the link.
- Another way is to make a link from a specific word, for example you might want to make these words link to a website with the example above i linked to the BBC website.

To do this highlight the words you want to turn into a link and whilst they are highlighted click "insert/edit link" button thats in the toolbar once you click this you will see the link dialog box open up as pictured below, as you can see i typed in the bbc website, once you have typed the web address in click the OK button and then save your page. Now you have create a link from a specific word/words

Opening Links in New Windows
Generally when you create a new link the link will always open in the same window, if you creating links within your own website this is fine, however sometimes you might want to
create links to external website so in this case you might want the link to open in a new web window, by doing this you are not diverting your visitor away from your website as your website is still visable in the current window.
To make a link open is a new window firstly right click on your link and you will see a list of options appear like the image on the right from this list click on the "Edit Link" option.
Now you will be presented with the link dialog box again, you now need to click on the "Target" tab and choose the "New Window" option as pictured below then click OK and save your page, now the link will open in a new/seperate web window
