PayPal Shopping Cart

The PayPal shopping cart is pretty self explanitory when its installed onto your website, once you have started using it for 5 mins you will quickly see how it all works, however there are a few points which you need to be aware of.

PAGE SETTINGS
On the Page Settings section the "Proceed Shopping URL" must be your main shop page address, we will set this correctly when we first setup your shop, however if you re-name your main shop page you will need to manually edit this in the page settings section

GENERAL SETTINGS
On the General settings page you need to be aware of a few things:

  1. Terms & Conditions URL
    If you ever change the name or location of your terms and conditions page you will manually need to add the new page location in this section
     
  2. PayPal Settings
    1. PayPal Email - You need to put in here the email account you have registered at paypal, this is the email address you use when you login to your paypal account
    2. PayPal Auto Return - You need to turn on the auto return feature within your paypal account so after people buy a product they are returned to your website - To do this log in to your PayPal account: Go to > "My Account" > "Profile" > "Website Payment Preferences" and set "Auto Return: On"
    3. Return URL - On the PayPal Auto Return page there is a box to put the Return URL, in here you need to put your main shop address, for example: http://www.domain.com/pages/shop.php

      NOTE: It is important to make these changes within your paypal account otherwise your shop will not work correctly
